lord of the rings quotes great big minds

The king of literature, J.R.R. Tolkien, may have died years ago but his wise words still live through his books, one of them being, The Lord of the Rings. Published decades ago, this epic fantasy novel has been adapted to movie series and is the greatest trilogy ever. We have the best Lord of the Rings quotes that will leave you a lot more hopeful than you are right now.

Recall that the Lord of the Rings revolves around a young hobbit, Frodo, who found the One Ring that belongs to the Dark Lord. He subsequently began his journey with 8 companions to Mount Doom, the only place where the ring can be destroyed. This is to prevent the Dark Lord from unleashing his rage upon the Middle-Earth.

While enjoying the Hobbit’s journey, Tolkien also left lots of important lessons on courage, strength, and perseverance. We have listed them below. Enjoy!

Driven with the need to take the One Ring to Mount Doom where it will be destroyed, Frodo and his eight companions set out on an adventurous journey. It took a lot of courage for them to embark on that journey. Sure, they knew they knew they would face lots of obstacles yet it didn’t stop them from going. What is that one thing that has been given you a sleepless night? Why are you not living life to its fullest? Fear of the unknown? But that is what makes life more interesting to live.

You might think you do not have what it takes to overcome the stumbling blocks life throws at you but the truth is, we never know how strong we are until being strong is our only option.

Are you running out of patience on making it in life? Remember that it took J.R.R. Tolkien 12 years to finish Lord of the Rings and another 6 years to publish it. Yet, today, it has sold over 150 million copies. Hold on, dear friend. Soon, everything will make sense.
